Datsun 210 motor and 5 speed

Anyone have interest in a complete Datsun A15 1500 motor with type 60 dogleg 210 5 speed tranny?
I drove the car before this was pulled so I know both the motor and trans are good.
I was planning on using this setup in Peter's car but I just had to gut and rebuild our bathroom so I'm looking for a way to pay off the mounting bills.
LMK if you are interested, the cool part (besides the extra power) is that no adapter is needed because the motor and trans were built to work together.
Comes with shifter and all the goodies (clutch fork TO bearing etc) - no knob.
PM or email me, rbastedo on the gmail.

Sold it.

How do I figure shipping?
What do these weigh? About 35 pounds?
What is best for boxing it up?

And the winning bid is?

Just shipped an engine to the west coast from here in So Dak through a friend in the manufacturing business. Over $ 500! Freight has gotten out of hand in the last couple of years.
Seems like there are guys on craigs list the will haul stuff when they happen to be going that way anyway. Don't know how that works but I've heard about it.

Kurt.

Sold just the trans.
Got $810 shipped. Not bad, that pays for a lot of bathroom stuff!!
Ok, it pays for a couple items. Good enough for me!

Maybe that transmission will buy you a bidet... so you can clean your own "transmission" (or at least your chassis). :cooler:

I'm reminded of the limmerick (when traveling in Europe):

The bidet is a procelein thrown,
very vew north Americans own.
To use it one sits,
give the chassis a spritz
so-as to service the appropriate zone.
