OK now I got it - guess what? The idiots what wrote the instructions tell you about the other foam after they tell you to remove ALL the foam. Anyway I salvaged enough to get it back to normal and used some spray foam to fill in the gaps. I am photographing this whole event so when I get done I will write REAL directions as to how to do it. I also hated the cheap look so I added some of my own touches. Thanks for the help from one and all.
