Dash Pad

Hey all,
I'm looking at replacing my dash pad and vinyl and I wanted to make sure there wasn't anything special I needed to know about removing the "defrost" vent and hoses. Figured I'd ask before I go about prying at stuff.
Thanks,
Drew

Hi Drew, the dash pad removal does not involve the vents and their hoses . Remove the mirror, under the lip of the dash are two bent up metal retainers located close to each door, bend them down out of the way. The vent trims on top of the dash pad, simply lock into holes in the scuttle. Very carefully try to pry the dash pad up and slide it back away from the windshield.---Fwiw--Keoke
