dash out, now what?

Hello, due to some wirering issues I decided to take the dash out of my '76B. I would like to be able to replace the harness but the money just isn't available so I'm making good solid repairs the best I can. My question is: As long as I've got the dash out is there anything I should look for and/or repair? I've removed all the gauges, cleaned the lenses inside and out, upgraded the gauge bulbs and will look for any obvious wire problems besides the one that caused all the trouble in the first place. Thanks, MACK /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

While your at it, look at your windshield rubber seals, all of them , now is the time to replace if needed, alot easier with the dash out. Rick

Switch Bezels. As Rick said, removing the windshield is a big bear. It helps if the dash is out.
