Any easy way to remove the Dash Nuts on a TR4 without tearing them up? I see a tool sold by British Tools that would work well but for $25.00. That buys quite a bit of ale where I live. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thirsty.gif

[/ QUOTE ]Yeah, buys a lot of ale here, too (or maybe 1/2 tank of gas /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif).
The tools are nice and seem to work well in the one or two uses I've given mine. The other option is to work very carefully with small screwdrivers or drifts and hammers...and LOTS and LOTS of masking tape to protect the dashboard WHEN (not IF) you slip out of the little notch on the retaining ring. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Compare prices of dashboards to the price of the tool, and you might just be convinced!
