AH Fans,

Anyone have a picture of the instrumentation/switch layout for a pre CE68000 BN4 that they can post or point me to???

I am installing the dash today with new material and need to know the correct placement of the switches, knobs, buttons, etc for this vintage.... The Tach/speedo/oil pressure and fuel gauge is self explainitory....

Thanks

Hey Ronzet, If you can get your hands on an Owners handbook for the car it will show you all the positions and functions of the dash controls. E-Bay seem to be a good source for them.---Keoke- /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cowboy.gif

I can't help with your question, but you either need to update your signature line or you have way too many WIPs, or both.

The Choke is under the steering column and their is an unseen interior light switch along the bottom of the dash to the right of the steering column.

The washer push (which I am still looking for an original of) is toward the passenger side.

On the Longbridge cars, there is no Furflex along the bottom, interior rim of the dash

Let me know if you need more detail.

TomFromStLouis,

Ahhh, the latter is the situation... WAY TOOO MANY WIPs... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif

Although I will be updating the MGA and the Healey to 'On the Road' shortly and the '66 B to WIP as I start tearing it down.. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif

ALTHOUGH, My wife was wandering around the San Diego British Car Days show this weekend and has fallen in love with the BN2 and wants one for herself.

Sooo, if I can find a BN2 for less than the GNP, I will sell off the B and do another Healey... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cheers.gif

Patton,

Thanks for the pics... These help. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif

While I am at it, Do you or anyone listening, happen to have a spare gas gauge (BN4 white face) laying around that you would sell... Mine is smashed up and not repairable... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wall.gif
