It doesn't look too promising but anyone ever seen a dash cap made for a 1969 E-type 2+2. THANKS

Reply by basil to another post resolved this one.
xlsunlimted.com carries a cap for the 69 e-type.

OOPS...didn't read the desciption too well...Dash top
is for a Series I and II Coupe/Roadster...appears they
discontinued the Series II 2+2 version. Anyone know if
this dash top will still be a reasonable fit?

Just an update...this is a nice piece from XKs. It is actually a pre-formed vinyl cover with a sytrofoam type backing. Effectively you strip the old dash top and lay/glue this piece back over the top. While it's not as simple as a dash cap...it'll look nice and original if I do my part of the job right.

Hi Bibber, sorry to be late with this response. However, there is a company called "Just Dashes" located here in Southern Calif that will build any type dash cover/cap one might need. They are pricey and a bit slow to deliver, but you can not beat their quality.---Fwiw--Keoke- /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hammer.gif
