Darwinian? Or just panic?

aweman, in some cases the cause of these tragic results are often simple complacency i.e. a well known boating writer for "field and stream" went on a boat ride with friends that had just purchased a new boat, they went across long island sound in nice weather however the return trip involved a harsh choppy sea and the new boat sank the owner and his wife were rescued but the writer and his wife perished, when the son of the writer went to the hotel his parents had been staying to collect their belongings he found two new life vest still in plastic wrapping in the hotel room closet. i have never lived more then a two minute walk from water, had my own boat and motor at 11 years old, my dad was a big navy something or other and taught use well still ive also through the years have had my own close calls, but boating as an industry is much too casual in portraying the experience, its akin to giving your three year old a 12 gage shotgun and shells for his birthday. i believe that god gave water to man in order to be able to retrieve the souls of individuals he could not normally harvest from car crashes or plane accidents. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/angel.gif
