And the Coast Guard has to evacuate idiots. The Coast Guard manual states "You HAVE to GO OUT, but nowhere does it say you have to return" Think about that awhile.

I realized that later,but it's still stupidity.He got a chance to
get nominated for more awards.
When I lived there we were smart enough to not go onto
either Jetty ,as a sneaker wave could happen, even when the
ocean looked calm.
The NUMBER 1 rule - NEVER TURN YOUR BACK ON THE OCEAN.
