Dark BRG paint code

Can someone provide me the the paint code for the very dark, (almost looks black in low light), BRG, I think this is the color Jaguar painted their factory racing C's, D's, etc. I am not a fan of the light BRG. Realize there is numerious BRG's, from the lighter BRG, the BRG with the bluish tint and finally the dark one I am seeking. I want to get a quart made up for painting the under body panels bits. Also, on that topic what type of paint should I use? I do not think I will do a clear coat. This car is not going to be a show or concours car, just a presentable driver. Any online sources for paint?
Thanks
Ed

I think the color on HealeyZ's car is fantastic:

Heres the thread with the color code: https://www.britishcarforum.com/bcforum/ubbthreads.php/topics/743939/1

Rick-
I could not agree more, I LOVE HEALEYZ's BRG, is this the same paint code as the one above?

From looking at HZ's posts the color is

Jaguar Exterior Color Code 254

The PPG deltron formula is 44524

Here's my favorite picture of his car:

OR you could just paint it Healey Blue, there's never any disagreement over that color. :jester: :jester: :jester:

I am going w/BRG, might add white coves..... Nice picture of HZ's cars profile, but the front end is so high it looks like there is no engine in it..... But, I do plan on making my car look like his from the front and use Bugeye bumpers for the rear........

He's got a lighter Nissan motor in the car which explains the ride height. I think he was going to lower the front end. Easy enough to do.

Thanks guys. Rick, that pic was before I put the motor in, so the front was really up there. I really wanted a deep dark BRG. The early Jag color did the trick for me.

Thanks HealeyZ, that is exactly what I was looking for. Did you rechrome the grill/and surround? Also is that paintjob w/clearcoat or w/out? I love it, just like a fellow we race with who restored his 120 and C type (real one)........ Am thinking of maybe also adding white coves....... But that looks like a lot of extra work.......

Wangdango,

The paint is base coat, clear coat, cut and polished. With the grill removed during paint, I was able to position the grill to get to all sides of the grill with metal polish and rags. Quite a few hours getting it to shine.
