This has got to be one of the best British TV series of the 1970s.


Day to day in London during the Blitz. Home life, military life, and disarming unexploded bombs.
 
One of my recent favorites is one that @DrEntropy turned me on to - The Sandbaggers. Been watching it on BritBox. The series is about the British Secret Intelligence Service (SIS) during the cold war. The lead character, Neil Burnside, oversees a special section within the SIS comprised of a small elite group of spies called "sandbaggers" who take on the more politically complex and sensitive missions.
