My friend out in Utah just called & said he's selling his Daimler....he's redone everything & even done a 5-speed conversion....if anybody's interested, PM me & I'll give you his phone number.

Think he's asking $25,000

That's a very fair price for a good condition car with mods. One on Ebay last month went for 29+ & it was nothing special. BTW Tony, I thought of your collection when I saw this last month at a show.
1939 MGTB-1250cc; 54HP @ 5,250 RPM; 379 made.

I believe it won peoples choice best in show, but it was an MG club so what do they know. (lol)

I would show a pic but haven't mastered the "how-to" for that yet. I'll try posting one in my pic file in the member's photo section.

Also saw an MGC roadster w/auto last weekend at a show; I think your GT version would be an ideal trip car.

Photo is in, look in Daimler section & my photos. Tried to put a link here but it directed to a blank screen.

That's pretty!

Pre-WWII, Dale...

I don't remember putting a coune berlinette on tony's signature.
I'll bet with a few of the parts Tony has lying around, he could probably whip up a replica of the 1981 Aston Martin MGB prototype...

Missing a YB Saloon & a '66 Midget.

'66 has roll up ewindows, vent windows, a diferent dash, outside door handles & a few other things.....'63 is a MkI, '66 is a MkII

I just can't find a MkII that's in decent (no rust) shape nearby...they were a short run so only a few years.

Where? eBay? I'd fear rust coming from there....

now obviously it's both your choice and money but is it different enough to be considered a separate model? On what basis do you decide?

I've got a MkI, a MkIII, & a 1500 Midget plus my TD which was also a Midget...so, to finish the little car's lineage, I just want a MkII if I find the right one.

you are an amazing guy  you might have the most complete MG collection in private hands when all this is done. Are there other variations that you are after in other models? (like wasn't there a princess badged as an MG that only about 2 were sold in North America?)
