Da Bears

Turn out the lights,
The party's over.......

At least now my loyalties won't be split for the Super Bowl.....
Sorry to see a loss because a key player goes down though.....

Da Bears may have won if Hanie had started . He moved the offense well. The Packer definatley got the jump on them. Whenever the Packers are in the Super Bowl , the universe is back on plane !

True, but being a life long Packer fan, "all is right in the universe" even if they don't win. Growing up close to the Packers and being a fan must have influenced my favorite color combination in cars, <span style="color: #003300"><span style="font-weight: bold">Green</span></span> and <span style="color: #FFFF00"><span style="font-weight: bold">Yellow</span></span> which always looks best on a <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="color: #003300">Lot</span><span style="color: #FFFF00">us</span></span> I might add!

I am happy the Pack won but also would have liked it better if Cutler had not been hurt. The media tried to create a sense of hatred between GB and the Bears fans. I doubt anyone that is a fan of either feels that way. Truth is that if Da Bears had won this Packer fan would have cheered for them in the Super Bowl.

I'm part of th' Steeler Nation.

...don' matter how far I roam.

:smirk:

:iagree: Me too. When I lived in there it was the Pirates though. Actually won the world series before I left. Geez, I must be getting old.

ah i dont care what anyahya say! im still rootin for the "brooklyn horsemen"...afl 1926, thems is MEN, little padding, light leather helmets if any at all, tough, tough, MEN!, none of this..lets check the replay, oh my goodness ive broken a fingernail, does my hair look good jutting from the back of my helmet?, coach take me out of the game i got a little dirt on my knee, oh i could never bring myself to ride on a team bus, lets all go inside its starting to cloud up a bit, etc. etc., and not one of the MEN on the "horse man" ever owned a pit bull! :jester:

Anthony, My favorite old team is the 1925 Pottsville Maroons who won the NFL title only to have the league give it to the Chicago Cardinals because the Maroons beat the Notre Dame All-Stars in the "area" of the rival Frankfort Yellow Jackets.

One of the starting linemen for the Maroons wore a baseball cap to play. The book "Breaker Boys" by David Fleming is a great read.

I found a clip of my favorite team. Surprised there was a video of it

I thought it was against the Texas state constitution to cheer for a foreign team?

No doubt, green and gold is good.....black and gold is BETTER!!!

I'm like Doc....member of the Steeler Nation, where ever I am.

What's was most surprising here in Chicago today was the backlash of other NFL players calling Cutler out for not playing hurt. I tore my MCL and ACL....knee swelled up like grapefruit and NO WAY IN H@LL ic could put ANY pressure on it. Anyone who knows anything about knee injury knows you're done when it happens...
