Custom Wiper Motors

The MG I am putting back together is far from stock. I hope it will look stock but there are many things I am doing different . For instance, I have never been a fan of the dash knobs that turn a cable. I am going to make servo driver circuits and large servos for those.

I was thinking of the wiper motors. Has anyone ever used custom wiper motors? The wiper assembly has never been a strong feature on the car.

Have you tried any of the "kit car" sites to see what kind of setup they are using? I bet some of these companies offer some neat little units.
 
I have started to look, I just don't know one from the other. My thoughts are that an aftermarket setup might work be stronger and work better. If I use an aftermarket design that is comon, it would be easy to replace parts. Of course if were a good updated design it may never need parts.

I am also looking over the original unit. Haven't decided yet. I was curious if anyone had gone the aftermarket route.
