Does anyone have a recomandation on a good source for a custom fit car cover (Big healey)

Luke-I just purchased a cover from Budge it is their Premier model made of DuPont Tyvek. Only $59 over the internet. You can check it out at a Wal-Mart here in the LA Area; however they do not carry the smallest size which is correct for a Healey. See link below. Peter.

Thanks, does it fit tight?

<span style="font-family: 'Comic Sans MS'">Hey Luke,

I'll check the manufacturer when I get home, but we have one that was made for the Healey where the seams run along the tops of the fenders and windshield following the lines of the car. VERY snug fit. If I remember right, it was @ $200 back in 2002.

I have a Nextec. Its fitted and rain/snow resistant. What I really like about it is that it compresses to football size with a compression bag from REI. Very light weight. Very expensive at about $200 if I remember correctly.

I think it fits perfect, a tight fit. Peter.
what exact size or model do you have since they do not list Austin Healeys

Thanks

Luke-The smallest size which is up to 13' 3". Our Healeys are about 13' 1".

Another Healey owner just purchased the least expansive car cover model from Wolf. It is also a tight fit relatively compact, sort of a gray color and arond the same price. If I had known of this option I might have chosen the Wolf Car Cover. Peter

I'm the other guy--I bought 2 Wolf covers through CarCovers4Less online. Wolf has 'Universal Fit' listings for big Healeys.

They have 4 grades available for our cars: Best is 'Evolution' at $108.99 and least is 'DuraLite' at $35.99

Both fit tightly and look right on the car. The top one is difficult to roll up small for trips but has good padding for in the garage--that's why I bought the cheapo one, which is 1/3 the size when rolled up.
