Custom BJ8 Dash Switch Panel

After trying to find an original Switch Panel with “AUX” to use for Driving Lights, I gave up and had one made.
I got the idea after looking at a Works race car Switch Panel, (see photo), and decided to add to it.
The satin black matches my original BBC Coolaire AC panel. I even added a location to select fuel pumps.

Cheers,
Patrick

Looks great! I kept mine simple on # 414 my '57 100-6MM vintage racer. I match the wood mounting face to the Moto-Lita wood wheel.
Electric fan, fuel pump and rally lights (optional) when mounted was all I needed.

Great job matching the wood! I did match my custom steering wheel, dashboard and shift knob wood.

VERY nice! By the way, what's it say on the fan knob? It looks like it has a custom label.

The Fan knob says “ENGINE AUX FAN” but not as readable as I would have liked due to the process used to label it. The Fan is to manually override the engine temperature control for the radiator. The AC system has its own blower motor.

I had this switch panel kicking around in spares bins for ever , used it in my rally recreation for fog lights and map light . It now has working LEDs as well

Neat panels for AUX switches etc. After 30 years, I finally installed the parcel shelf and windscreen washer bottle and tubing in my BJ 7. Now the fire extinguisher needs to be relocated. Perhaps above the trans tunnel like Dougie's.

Got my dash mods and accessories all don’t today , map light folded away , stopwatches in place . Note separate indicator lights for indicators , central red one is now low OP . Also indicator light near keys next to my digital voltmeter/USB socket is for OD engaged .
You can see my fire ex in the rear view mirror it’s on the back sloping panel but I have deleted the rear seats in my rally recreation .
