Cushman Eagle

What do any of you know about Cushman Eagle scooters? I remember them from junior high school in Houston, they were the cool ride of the time. A friend recently passed away and left an un-restored Eagle in his estate. Pretty rough but restorable. Any thoughts on value? His widow wants to get rid of it.

Hideous things. I remember a few folks having them ages ago. They still have a following and I'd suggest Hemmings, eBay completed sales (subtract a bit), and Google. I doubt it's worth a lot unrestored but probably has enough $ in it to be worth selling. If you know anyone who owns a King Midget, call them and they'll probably buy the Cushman.

I remember as a kid comparing Cushmans & Lambrettas and wondering how both were designed by the same species.

Anyway, good on ya' for helping out.

I had one when I was in the Navy and stationed over seas. Gave 20 bucks for it and it ran like the wind! I really liked it, very reliable and no mixing of gas. You can find them in various stages of restoration and conditions. Believe it or not, restored ones are going from $4000, nice condition to $8000 for show class! PJ

Bill, your kid living uptown would be a hero with that thing.

Will never forget my days at LSU. Campus police ran around in Cushman carts. We called the "troops" the "Cushman Raiders"!
