Back in April when the trailing arm fell off, I also
installed complete new rear brakes and new emergency
brake system. They never worked very well.

But since Crypty has been on jacks having other things
replaced it was a low priority. Now the beast is about
to "Meet the Street" and the priority rose a bit.

Been out working in the Crypt since 4:30 AM this morning
with my pal Bentley Blue and my tool kit.

I am most happy to announce that the Crypt Car now has
functional rear brakes and a functional emergency hand
brake system.

Now... on to the install of the electric fuel pump and a
re-install of the exterior light's wires, battery, etc
that are out of the car and I just might have Crypty on
the street by evening Saturday.

My 18" wide auto shop is a bit tight for working space.

Dale,
Great to hear that you are making good progress with Crypty. I think your British Car Club will be a great help. I am amazed, though, that you can fit a TR6 in an 18 inch wide garage. I thought my 8 foot wide lock up was tight!

I keep telling you guys that the car is evil and no one will listen. It can slither into any opening.

One of these days, Dale will find it at the kitchen table in the morning when he gets up.

Let's hope he doesn't find a cylinder head on the pillow next to him!
