crossflow radiator with bugeye bonnet?

I have a 65 square body that I am going to change to a 60 bugeye bonnet. I currently have installed a crossflow radiator, new, a couple of years ago and would like to continue to use it with the bonnet conversion. will it clear, or do I have to go back to the downflow, that I still have. I am planning on doing it as a front tilt if that matters. Any other suggestions or guidance on the process of converting is also appreciated. thanks, ron

I've seen crossflows under a bugeye bonnet.

There is actually more cooling area in the downflow than in the crossflow but if you have made that change I'm sure it will clear.

Kurt.

We had some fit issues with RickB's crossflow/Bugeye bonnet- if I recall correctly right hand headlight interfered with it and we went with the downflow radiator

Edit- Rick's was a 1500 crossflow, not a 1275 crossflow

I had to do a little tweaking with one of the corners of the top of the radiator shroud. Needed to remove maybe a half inch. Front tilt as well. It will work without major surgery.

Bugsy I my '68 Sprite I might add.
