Crazy weather!

We have had 3 feet of snow in December. Much of it still here. The last few days we have had single digit temps. Rain predicted for four days starting Sunday, some heavy, with temps possibly to 50 degrees and flooding expected and most snow to be gone. Then snow again in the forecast for next Thursday.

Seems we need to keep both our rain hat and snowshoes handy!

It's been POURING down rain for a few hours.
Sounded like a car down the street playing rap music.

Crack, crash one less tree

Well, we are finally getting our long awaited winter storm here in Santa Cruz. It started yesterday and will end tomorrow. Expecting 4 inches of rain on the coast and 8-10 in the mountains.

Winds gusting to 45 MPH took out a tree in the back yard. Fortunately the two metal sheds, which house TR6 body parts were not damaged.

Looks like it is time to tune up the chain saw and draw up plans for a bigger shed. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif

Re: Crack, crash one less tree

Finally got a real winter rain in California.
Got a bit of a break but expect more to come.
Trying to get some paint that looks acceptable
in the TR engine bay. I'll have to settle, but,
hey, it's just an engine bay. Not building a show
car...but my eyes do pop when I see some of yer stuff.
Man your cars can look good!

Re: Crack, crash one less tree

Wind blew here for two days straight, gusts over 80 mph, took some shingles off of my roof {Bummer} blew down trees and power lines in other areas of town. I hate it, for the simple fact that I will have to spend some of my camping/working on my Tr days repairing the roof. *SIGH*
