I'm referring to the hose that goes from the engine block to the side of the ZS carburetor. So, what do you guys use for this? I thought I'd replace the hardened and brittle hose with 3/8" fuel line, but I can't get the fuel line to fit onto the tube coming out of the engine block. The line fits on the carb fitting perfectly though /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

The guys at PepBoys weren't very helpful. I figured I need an oil resistant hose for this connection, but the guy i spoke with only referrd me to their generic hose end cap. The largest fuel line on the end cap was 3/8" which seems to be too small for the engine block side. They have 1/2" heater hoses there, but is that good enough for this application? I don't want any unexpected failures because of a silly hose...

thanks once again for yer advice.

You might try Victoria British, Moss Motors, Brit-Tek, etc. There are several dealers for MG parts. I would think there would be a parts store in your area that handles MG parts as well, i.e. import parts store.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Cheers
