Cramming

We don't have internet services at my office (alright, so I am an old dog) and decided to check with various providers to compare costs. Cable wanted an arm and a leg. ATT, my phone co. provider, offers DSL. We don't need blinding speed because we only want to check insurance company benefits for patients. We don't electronically bill. Anyway, a really nice ATT rep reviewed my bill and noted that I was being CRAMMED in the worst way, paying for BS services that sneaked into my bill by deceptive practices. My new receptionist believes everybody that calls and prolly said the wrong thing to a crammer. So, I went from $260 per month for just phone service to $189 per month for same service (3 phones) PLUS DSL internet. My old receptionist of 35 years was tough and wiley. My new receptionist is a pushover. I would fire her but I am married to her......

When we had a phone line into the hangar we'd have people call constantly trying to "cram" stuff on us. I gave up talking and just started asking if I could put them on "hold", then I'd hang up. The word must have gotten out, after 6-8 months the calls slowed to a trickle

Sounds like an untenable situation to me. :jester:

...OTOH, nearly $100 a month in reduced overhead should be a "training incentive".

Does your wife know?

LOL I'd watch my p's and q's too if I were in your shoes! We women don't take kindly to anything even bordering negative behavior. Fire her, NOT! Now, go hug her.
