TR4 could be a nice driver.

Oh - if that is really a 1975 TR7 it's worth some money out here in CA sinec it can be modified!

I am still lookng for that Rover SD1...

How can you say the V8 MGB is overpriced? That car is awesome.

Dry storage? I finish this tour I am finding a way to get if from dry storage to Pennsylvania.

I like the MG, I just think it is overpriced... I would guess closer to $7500

Why is it when someone stuffs a Rover V8 into an MGB and refers to the original MGB-GTV8s they think they are worth so much? MGB-GTV8 in the UK are not that expensive and there are plenty of them plus it seems there are nto a ton of conversion like there are over here stateside. Its makes me wonder when I had converted a TR7 to TR8 specifications if it is worth twice as much? Now the TR4 is my pick of the litter!

Dry storage = 29 Palms CA.

Very, very dry. Which also means headline and foam and rubber on the car will be crumbly.

Dry storage in PA = rusted strut towers and rotten floors

Well you gotta pick you battles I guess!

I have half a mind to strip her down and drop a Rover 4.6 in her. That would make for one fast Rover....

I like the 3.5. Mostly because I have already built one and have a book for it. I keep trying to think of how to build and extra garage stall

Stinger,

One is not enough? I can understand that. I want to keep one of my TR4As more traditional with wire wheels and a soft top and restore the second one with splined alloys, Surry top and driving lights.

That did look interesting. I only wonder about the rear fenders being replaced with fiberglass ones especially since it says it's been stored since 1970 (only driven 5 years?).

Scott, My thoughts exactly. My TR4A is pretty much all original and the thought of starting on a second modified one is tempting. Being stored since 1970 caught my eye and I completely missed the part about the fenders! I still may be interested if it was rust free but live too far away to check it out. Probably should put on the blinders and keep working on what I have! Don

Stinger,

I see they posted some new pictures for the TR4A in Pittsburgh Looks like they pulled the car out of the garage and shined it up.

So you track down some metal fenders and then, after 70,000 miles and 20 years, put the metal ones on when you ger her repainted
