The good, represented as rust free, overdrive

The bad, engine compartment, and maybe interior, radiator doesn't look right to me, but not an expert on early 70s spitfires, also is that a downdraft weber? and a header? was there an engine fire, or maybe the battery blew up and spewed acid all over everything.

I was going to ask if this was a potential deal or a money pit, but I think I may have answered my own question.

I wonder if the date is a typo...or something else. That radiator style is usually just the very late 1500s, say 1979-80. Can't see enough of the interior to judge date or condition. And yes, that looks like a Weber downdraft carb, for whatever that's worth. It might be a decent deal, but it would merit a very close look first.
