TR6 Courtesy light switch

Does anyone have or know where I can get a courtesy light switch that goes on the left side? It has 2 wires with blade connectors and 1 wire with a bullet connector. I've looked at all of the usual suppliers like Moss and Vic Brit but nobody has it. 1971 TR6.

Have you checked Rimmer in the UK?

I've had some luck with repairing originals. If you look near the base (where the connection tabs are), there is a welded seam in the plastic. I was able to cut through the seam and pry the end off, which releases the plunger and contacts. Clean them up, bend a little as necessary, then glue back together.

(My Stags don't have the third wire, but I believe the construction is very similar and the two contact switch is likewise hard to find.)

Another option might be a small wiring change. Use a single contact switch (of the right length) to activate a relay. The relay contacts can then supply power to the key light and warning buzzer.

I mounted two courtesy lights - brand unknown from Auto Zone or Napa - on both sides of the transmission tunnel and hooked them up to a switch. That was 17 years ago. I also disconnected the infernal seat belt buzzer and taped off the wire. Good riddance.
