Not Pekka's best work. I feel like I have said that before, so I won't flog a dead horse.

He's dead, Jim.

I’m halfway through “Staying True” by Hua Hsu. It is an interesting story of growing up in the US as a child of immigrant parents. Deciding when to act “American” vs his native Taiwanese nationality - and ultimately deciding both are OK; “be you”, be true to your values and enjoy whatever the heck makes you happy.

Coming from a similar background, a son of immigrant parents looking for better opportunities, the book resonated with me - even though I came from across the Atlantic and he from the Pacific.
