Countdown to launch

Ron,

Can you give me a link for the Champion style connectors. I'm not sure what I'm looking for. If it makes it look better, I'll get them.

As far as anything rubbing, there are still wires laying out of place under there that will be attended to as soon as Erik wires the Spal fan relay harness in tomorrow. I had to bring a few new grommets down this afternoon for the firewall because the tach cable and heater/choke cable grommets were getting funky looking and now is the time to replace them. Then, after the tach cable is repositioned and if it hits the foot well, I'll make a nice cover for it.

I'm always open for a critique and other opinions. Thanks for the Champion tip!

Dunno about web search, Should be able to head for your friendly Flaps and get them to look in their Champion Catalog. I think NGK or some other plug and wire company made some that looked similar.
They were 90 degree bakelite plastic, the champions had the champion logo on the top, screwed onto the end of the plug wire.

Here's an example reproduction of the champion plugs:

I bought some of these a while ago, haven't installed yet so can't say if they are any good. The ones I received I don't think are quite as nice as the picture though in terms of quality. NGK does do an angled set which looks better IMO, I think Moss sells them.

I'll coerce a friend to trot his LBC over and take pix of the Lucas ones. Tho they're the same as those Champion ends.

...but they look sooo "official" on an LBC engine.

Nothing, I'm sure, Paul. He's pulling your leg.

Everything looks just so great. It's like, what's
left to be said.

Hi Paul,

I just tuned in here & all I can say is "OUTSTANDING"!

Can`t wait to see the "Trips" mounted.

Regards, Russ

Paul, brass and aluminum don't mix. Other than that, FABULOUS.

Paul: I just have one question. When do you find time to work, eat and sleep?

Seriously, this is truly an impressive example of your passion for this hobby. You really should consider having this published in one of the lbc magazines. Then we can all brag about knowing you.

p.s. don't forget to leave a little money for groceries and clothing for the wife and kids!!! :smirk:

I have a premonition that I will be seeing this car in the slick page $5+ magazines. And it is worthy of of national no international coverage.

You have created a TR6 that will make an Englishman envious!
