Looking through our local Super Shopper, I came across a clasified for a 1970 Austin MKII for sale.
The listing is as follows:
1800 Landcrab, classic, mint condition, no rust, engine disassembled, cleaned and painted, all new engine parts, needs reassembly.
This is what I find questionable... $41,500.00 OBO.

Couldn't get through to the number to see if it was a misprint. Could this figure be accurate?

I'd say that thing is worth about 41 bucks, U.S.
 
Mis-print... At least I'm 99.9% certain about that, this kind of stuff happens all the time in these classifieds things.

There's no way a guy could think an 1800 is worth $41K (or else I'm totally crazy /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazyeyes.gif Methinks typo, yeah... my keyboard has the dollar sign above the number 4, that makes a little more sense...

Even still at $1,500 that might be a wee bit steep for an 1800 Land Crab restoration project.
