Could I drive this?

I posted a picture in the pictures forum of what appears to be a TR7 in good condition. The one snag is the pink vinyl that has been applied to both sides. Could I safely drive this car??? I like the two-tone effect but wish it weren't with pink! Thanks.
(Sorry if I'm over-posting about this.)

Was that the one listed in the Boise Craigslist a while back? I'm sure some work with a heat gun would resolve the problem.

I saw that one too a while back. I would drive it! Of course, I think I would work on removing the pink as soon as possible, but I'd still drive it in the meantime! I think I tried to use that one to talk my wife into getting a Wedge. She seemed intrigued, but not enough to give me the go ahead. ( I'll slowly wear her down!) But I say go for it!

It may have been on the Boise Craigslist. It has been advertised more than once.
I like having two colours and just wish the second colour were something else. Was there a vinyl kit for doing this?
It's about a three-hour drive for me to see the car, and so far it hasn't worked out.

I guess they just go for the wild color schemes in Boise!

Nightmare on Elm (or ANY) street!

Actually, this doesn't look like that bad of a deal! It would eventually need a repaint but, heck, you'd definitely turn a lot of heads in the meantime!

I'm not having any luck finding were he posted the picture. :wall:

Would someone please post a link the the "pictures forum" or give me directions on how to get there?

I didn't see where he posted either. I just remember seeing it on CL months ago. Zedvictor, can you post a pic or a link here?

Remember when your on the inside you don't see the outside much.

Well, she's presently 11, so it'll be a while before she can drive. She really likes "daddy's cars" and we'll restore something to be her first car. The present dilemma is that she can't conceptualize a car past the color of it's paint. What I'm trying to teach her is that the condition of the vehicle is far more important than the colour. You can always paint a car, and I'd rather get her a good car and apply a maaco paint job than buy a pink coated pile of rust and grease.
