Is the King Dick 6" jack the correct one for a 54 100? Was it supplied with the split handle in two parts? Did the handle have a tommy bar or wooden handle for turning? Thanks

Here is the Shelley 6DL Jack that I have for my 53 MG TD, I believe that this same jack might have been supplied with the 54 100?

There seem to be a couple of rod choices. Here are 2 examples, I am not sure if either are correct for a 100.

Below is the information for the jacks and handles supplied with the 100's. (Courtesy of Roger Moment: Tools and Jack Article)

Excellent, thanks. It appears that a Shelley LJ23 with the correct L shaped saddle is what I need. They were all supplied with the curved saddle like on my DL6 jack for the TD. Probably a tall order to find the right jack with the correct 54 date code!

Probably not as tall as you think! When I purchased the car in 1977 the tool kit was already totally missing. I spent time on eBay and other places over the last couple years looking for all of the original tools for my disc wheeled '58 BN6, and finally competed a set of all originals.

Keep looking!!
