Cork float sealant

My "new" brake reservoir float has sunk.
Of course, it's just over 1 year, so no warranty.

I just polished off a bottle of Ste. Michelle, and saved the cork.
(Yes, the "new" switch has a cork).

What, if anything, do you folks use to seal the corks?

Cork seal? Your kidding right? Get a not so expensive bottle of wine. Not so cheap it comes in a box or has a screwoff top. The corks in those are not cork at all! It's some kind of man made crap and has tolerated brake fluid in my car literally for 8 years now with now side effects.

Well, the Ste. Michelle cork is working.
The "old" one sits on my workbench, bleeding brake fluid for the past 4 days.....
