What started as a relatively easy job to change the handbrake cable on the BJ8 turned into a drama when I tried to check rear brake shoes and found several of the hub nuts were stripped. I ended up with all off with dificulty, the last one having to be drilled out, fortunately with no aparent damage to the stud. Turned out brake shoes were fine.
I've got new nuts and am about to put it back together. Is it ok to use coppereeze on the studs to ensure easier removal next time or is correct torqueing enough.
