Cooper featured marque at Rolex Monterey historic

Nice. I once owned a Cooper Jap formula 500 car. PO had installed a BMW Isetta 600 engine in it to run in FJunior here in the States. I later converted to a 948 Sprite engine attached to a Fiat 850 transaxle. Later planned to put it back to a 500cc one lung Japanese motorcycle engine. One day was talking to an Aston Martin rep at the shop, and the Cooper came up in discussion. Since he was a Brit and of the right age group to have been around during the period, I asked him what he thought about the motorcycle idea. He told me that it would be exactly in the spirit of the firm, and then went on to say "of course when I worked for John, he had already moved on to F2."
One never knows who he is talking to, eh?

I am looking to share my campsite. Looking to split the cost. This is a very good campsite #115 1 min walk from a killer viewing area. Send a private message if interested.
