TR6 Coolant leaking from TR6?

On two seperate occasions I have found a puddle of liquid under my TR6 I've driven the car fairly extensively between the leaking episodes and there has been no problem. The instances were 2-3 weeks apart and there appears to be no source for the leaks! Anyone else had this problem?

Is the liquid slimy or oily feeling? Does it have a color tint? Have you checked all of your fluid levels (radiator, brake fluid, clutch fluid, etc.) Is it coming from the front, middle, or back of the engine?

I wonder if it's your clutch fluid. Have you recently had any shifting problems like hard to go into gear or grinds when it's put in reverse?

Or, maybe water is condensing on something and streaming off. But, with the amount of heat under a TR bonnet, I doubt it.
 
It is coolant. The rad level had dropped slightly. I know what the liquid is I just cannot determine exactly where it came from, there are no apparent leaks and it does not happen every time I use the car. The puddle sits right under the center of the rad.
 
might be a stupid question - does your overflow tank have a leak or a loose connection? might explain why it is intermittent and it's easily overlooked...

I recently had the same problem with my TR3, coolant level decreasing however I did not have an apparent puddle under the car. Some paper or cardboard under the car might help you find where the drip/leak is.
