Coolant leak

I have developed a coolant leak in my 71 TR6. Apparently it's been going on for some time for there is dried coolant over the top of the radiator and even under the bonnet. There was a wet spot on the passenger side inner fender near the water pump. The hoses seem tight. I plan to have the system pressure tested by a shop, but before I do, anyone have any hints where it might be coming from? PS - took the car on a rally today - its first. Ran about 125 miles with not a missed beat. Just the leak. Also - how do I remove the coolant dried residue which has discolored the paint under the bonnet - sorta white.
