That is neet, but the carbs are still what draws my attention.

At least they got the Union Jack right. I've seen what must have been some very expensive Union Jack paint jobs on TRs and other LBCs that didn't bother positioning the red diagonals correctly (had them centered in the white).

How long do you recon it would take just to properly TUNE that Rolls engine?

Regardless, I'd like to test drive it afterward!

I'll take the carbs over the V/C any day.
Is that a GT6 or a Spit 6?

Spit6

78Z,

Very cool valve cover. I'll trade you my 1500 spit for your spit 6 anytime.

Cheers,

Actually, I don't know anymore:it's from a Classic Car calendar...anybody else know anything?

Also, here's another neat valve cover. The gal who owns this Mini is one of my students (my Spridget is in the background).

Nice triple Webers...probably worth more than the rest of the car!

As for the Merlin, I can't imaging it's a very good car engine...as I remember the RPM peak is like 3000 RPMS...It's also extremely heavy. And finally, what are the chances it's actually a Packard Merlin engine? That would cause all types of trouble in the space-time-continuam
