Convertible top frame color

Does anyone know of a close match for the gray convertible top frame color and/or a source for the paint? Getting ready to install a new top on my BJ8, but the frame needs a little attention first.

I haven't tried it but I've read that Rustoleum Smoke Gray, #7786 is the correct color. If you try it, please let us know how it works.

I mixed black and white to get the correct colour. You can get it right with just the two, surprisingly little black was needed.

I second the motion on Smoke Gray. That's what I use.

Just picked up a couple of cans of the Rustoleum smoke gray 7786. If not identical, it certainly is a very close and acceptable match.
