Convertable Top web straps

Can anyone tell me where I can source replacement straps for the three web straps in the convertable top on my 76 Midget?

As an alternative can anyone tell me where I can source a length of a similar web material which would do the job.

Your help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Al

My straps were broken when I got my Midget, I got some nylon straps like you would find on gym bags.
Good luck.

Odd that these aren't available... was there something unusual about them? Certainly standard top webbing is available for TRs in black or tan in 2" widths.

Not sure about the later Midgets, but the earlier Sprites used a canvas 1" wide web. 3 of them. I found it at the local fabric store by the yard for under a buck. You can find nylon straps there too.

Thanks for the advice... I went to the local fabric store (where everyone looked at me like I was from Mars... I guess they don't get a lot of men in there) and got exactly the right stuff for the job.
