TR4/4A Converible top question

Well I managed to put off the installation of the top all summer long;
I've now started the project.
I'm now installing the 2 webbing strips to the framing. Any tips to give?
I'm wondering how tight I should make these guys?
One other question regarding the rear cross member- it should be
adjusted so as to fit just forward of the rear window stitching.
Thanks for the help !

I so seldom put the top up I can't recall details form memory, though I usually wait until the new top is on to do the final positioning of the bow.

BTW - You should indicate whether this is for a TR4 or a TR4A as they are completely different set-ups.

Sorry, my mistake- it's for a 4A. I'm like you; drove it all summer without, but just
need to finish the project & replace all the parts that fell off! Thanks for the heads up
on the door moldings. Fought that for a while. They're now closing properly.
