connecting rod/piston compatibility

I want an mild performance road engine, which I am just starting to collect parts for and I was wondering if there is any problem with using MG connecting rods AEG625 with a higher performance piston such as the Cooper S Hepolite with a +20 overbore.

I've rebuilt completely stock engines before but never with a mix/match of pistons and connecting rods.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Dominic,
I rebuilt my 1275 engine with its stock rods, but high performance persons. Just watch the total height of the piston which will affect the compression ratio.
