Congrats to Healey Passion!

It's a fabulous car and Steve has written a great article about it. I will also publish many more photos from the Conclave photoshoot of his car. It will probably appear in about the February or March issue.

The car is also "Miss March" in the 2011 AHCA Calendar, coming to members' mail boxes soon.

Thanks Rick! I was very excited to see it on the Healey Marque cover! The credit for the great shot goes to Reid... I don't know how he got such a good picture in the bright sunlight, I never do. He can certainly work some magic with that camera. I'm looking forward to seeing some of his other images of the car.

Cheers,
Steve

Steve, you are correct. Reid has a way with his camera. He took a terrific shot of my car in the early 80's at Monterey CA. I think this was during his "impressionism period" and way before he was "discovered". I was delighted when I saw it published in Healey Highlights later that year. My wife had an enlarged copy of that photo framed and gave it to me for Christmas years ago. It's now hanging in our bedroom. One of these days, I'll catch him at an event and have him sign it. That will certainly add to the provenance when it makes it to the Antique Road Show. I am proud to have a Trummel hanging in my house.

Geez Rob, you're gonna bring a tear to this old curmudgeon's eye. I just hope that by "have a Trummel hanging in my house" you don't mean by the neck. :eeek:

When I opened the mailbox and 'Healey Marque' was there, with Steve's beautiful car on the cover, I couldn't wait to dig in. Best magazine EVER. My congratulations, and I add my kudos to Rick and Steve's on Reid's talents. I wasn't able to attend Conclave 2010, but am already looking forward to C. Springs and Conclave 2011. Just think what Reid will do that scenery.
