Confirm interchangeability

I may have mentjoned that I plan to convert my Midget back to Chrome bumpers. I'm getting into buying mode. Before I do, are the grilles (and the surrounds) interchangeable?

I'm not worried about the bumpers as I will have to make new mounts anyway. However, could someone please send a pic of how the bumpers are attached from the inside?

One of the problems you'll run into is that the grill cannot sit "deep" into the "mouth" as it does on older cars, because the metal reinforments for the rubber bumber get in the way. Basically, the grill has to sit "flush", which looks fine to me. You could saw out the reinforcments, but it's a real job.
The general shape of all the older Spridget grills is the same (except, of course, the Bugeye).
