Concours d'Elegance

This last weekend, we had a concours here in Fresno, CA. Among a fine selection of automobiles (from a great horseless carriage to an Enzo Ferrari!), there were three Triumph 2000 Roadsters. I had never seen one of those in person before. What a neat automobile!

The local British Car Club had a good selection of vehicles, including some real clean TR6's. Enough of a kick in the pants for me to get back on track with cleaning up my '72!

Bill...I just entered my Healey in it's first Concours this past weekend...and what a bunch of great cars...from the really exotic to a few LBC's...what a learning experience...and it's a great way to met people...I didn't win...but as far as I could tell...ever car there was a winner... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I shouldn't downplay our event. The Greater Valley Concours d'Elegance just celebrated it's 31st show. Over the years, it's really developed a following and is considered one of the better ones around. Over 200 cars to be judged each year, and a growing contingent of car club corrals where the party goes on all day...

It's a great way to see a broad spectrum of vehicles!
