I just saw a 1 Tera bite external HD for 120 bucks. I paid more than that for the 100 gig external I have now. The USB sticks are getting cheaper also. I just bought a 16 gig for 40 bucks. A couple years ago a 2 gig would cost around that. Amazing. But I like it!

Yep made my life a little better when I had a hard drive crash last week. 1.5 tera bite drive for 150. Also paid a 100 bucks for a blue ray drive Now I need to figure out how I'm going to fill it up.

I need to start priceing other stuff out as its getting time to build my dad a new computer.
 
last year I bought a 16 gig card for my ChaseCam digital video recorder.

It was $300...
Now it's $40 :cryin:
 
Moores Law is why I ain't bought a DSLR... I figger if I wait long enuff I'll get one <span style="font-style: italic"><span style="color: #FF0000">free</span></span> with th' purchase of a box o' laundry soap or suchlike. :wink: :smirk:
 
On the up side...

You can pick up a nice F4 for $200.00 on E-bay.

When I bought my office computer 6 years ago (Dell with XP Pro), I balked at paying $2,400.00 for a 19" flat screen monitor. So, I bought a 19" behemoth for $240.00 The Big Bertha screen went blue on me last week which sent me to Best Buy to get a new one. A 19" Dell flat screen I bought for $179.00 Technology is good.

I was giving directions to a friend awhile back and said something like.

"Make a right were Burger Chef was and go about a mile"

There was a kid standing nearby with a screwed up look on his face.

First of all there is no building on the current site and what the heck is a Burger Chef?
 
And today on eBay, a used, non show front license plate holder, needing plating for a TR6 is ending at $430.00 and a nice TR6 gas cap went for $182.00
