Color codes help needed

Hi yall,
I am rebuilding a 1967 TR4A which was originally signal red.
I would like to change the color to a very dark blue but do not have the Triumph color codes for it.
I know that the TR was available in this color.
Can anyone help with the original color codes for blue and their equivalent today for a PU coat?
I believe that Royal blue was the name for it but then again
I might be wrong...

Triumph's color code for Royal Blue was 56. This is the number that was designated for the TR6 as they used that color from 1969-71. I would imagine they are the same. As far as the color code for mixing the paint, somebody else may have that or try a good auto parts store. I've found the paint numbers for the TR6, but don't recall seeing them for older models.

This should give some idea of the various color available and if you are concerned about it, which colors were offered for the TR4A.
