Collector Car insurance

None of the Collector car ins policies allow for the vehicle to be a 'work car' and all allow for shows, parades and 'pleasure driving'.
The thing I note with Hagerty and those that have filed a claim is that they don't really get inquisitive about the reason for your driving when a claim is made.
If you say it was for pleasure, enjoyment etc they accept that.
Kind of a common sense thing.

I was curious, so I went to the Hagerty site and copied this question and answer. Here's what they say....

Q: What are your usage restrictions/guidelines?

A: Simply put, we want you to enjoy your classic vehicle. While there are some restrictions in the policy, you’re covered for pleasure use, whether it's a drive on a gorgeous summer day, a trip to the ice cream shop, attending club events or going to shows. If you have specific questions about usage, especially if you own a newer vehicle (generally 1990 and newer), we're happy to discuss them with you.

I had a small incident with my 1968 Dodge Charger R/T in my garage. I managed to drop a 3/8 ratchet and socket on the decklid due to overhead garage door jammed. Condon and skelly covered the $1200 repair damage to decklid and re-stripe to the tail of the car no questions asked. My TR8 is insured for full replacement value of $18K thru them. I shopped around and found other "classic car insurance companies to be as expensive or more than what I pay--less than $300 per year--full coverage. I would recommend Condon and Skelly--Thanks--Daniel

But if the accident was at 7:30 am on a Tuesday morning on the 202 Loop in Phoenix I'm guessing they might want to know a little more.
