I found this photo interesting. Looks like the woman isn't feeling the weather nearly as much as the men are.

Taken at the 1958 Sebring 24 hour race. Thank you "TheOldMotor"!

Don't think you can say that. The construction of the suspension device worn has changed over the years. They used to be seamed on the front, they are now molded. Methinks you are seeing seams and imagining something different.

Got to drive a 57 Premier convert. Pink and black 2-door with a continental kit. Thing was a block long! What fun! I would have let her ride with me!!!! Big bench seats!!! hehehehehe.....
