TR4/4A Cold air intake system

Been thinking of building a cold air system for the TR. I see Moss has provides one for the MG. https://www.mossmotors.com/Shop/ViewProducts.aspx?PlateIndexID=120957 Thinking about just a simple box with a universal tube and filter attached. I don't think I will be able to fit velocity stacks in the box because of clearance to the inner fender, unless I am willing to modify it. At the rpm I operate at, I don't know if they would do anything. Revington supplies airboxes and fitments for additional fender clearance not cheap. https://www.revingtontr.com/shop/Co...ssid=W7R9U1F31T1F8MBTPR79AH4WHU2H14DF&CID=221 Anybody have any experience with this?

Not on a TR4/4a, but my TR8 was noticeably happier to get cold air from outside the car when I connected the factory intake which draws air from outside.
