Well it's just made out of plastic so what I would do is just take it out and heat it up (starting first with a blow drier but if thats not hot enough I'd try something else) and while it is hot(not hot enough to compleately melt the plastic, but getting kind of close) I would start trying to bend it back by hand(wearing gloves of course). and let it cool while holding it in the shape you want. that should work. or atleast thats what I would try first

I think it is a great design and hope to copy it this winter as one of the project for Dolly Clementine...Thanks for sharing Bob!

I just need to make an extra slot to hold my pipe!

VERY Cool! I love a cuppa Timmy's (poor American friends, no Tim Horton's except in upper NY State for us Canadian weekend shoppers) while tooling down the road. I even bought a VW FOX retractable cup holder to try and mount but would have had to do major surgery on the dash to fit it so I returned it. I like your idea a lot. Thanks for sharing. Should post it on Skye's board too.

Cool. I never even thought of putting a cup holder in one of the Spridgets, but there isn't that much difference in the console configurations between a Sprite and a "B", so I'll have to give it a try.
BTW, those of us in southern Michigan also enjoy Tim Hortons, so aren't totally deprived. We have several Canadian racers at Waterford Hills, and one of their wives manages a Timmies in Windsor, so we drink Tim Hortons coffee at the track all race weekend. That'll get the blood flowing!

Great Idea! My cupholder consists of a towel laid in my crotch where the cup also goes. But I don't drink McDonalds coffee cause it's too hot. I do enjoy Tim Horton's while north of the border though.

I would think that on a proper British car the holder should be made to hold a teacup or maybe a pint, but certainly not a coffee cup. Is nothing sacred anymore?
