Clutch Release Bearing

Does anyone know of a replacement release bearing for the 1275's with the ribcase transmission. I replaced the clutch pressure plate and the release bearing three months ago. That was about eight thousand miles ago. Now the release bearing is screeming. heck will freeze over before I will pull the engine every three months to replace the bearing. Keep in mind this is my daily driver.

I think I'd do some investigation and find out the root cause, though. Even the carbon types seem to last forever on all of mine, and I've got a bunch! Make sure the throwout arm is releasing all the way, and not letting the bearing rest on the pressure plate fingers all the time. An incorrect length clutch pushrod can cause that to happen.

One solution (though not for purists!) is to add a "return spring" to the fork! This will pull the bearing away from the plate to keep it from riding and wearing!
 
Thanks for the replys. All the parts were NEW stock parts from VB. The slave cylinder has had no modifications done to it. Stock shaft. I drove the wifes Jag today and plan on checking the Sprite tonight. If I do have to pull the engine to replace it I'll check out Winners Circle. Its like you Mike said these things normally last 4ever the last bearing had eighty thousand miles on it. That I know of. I don't know how many were put on it before I got the car.
